Accounts

Accounts represent identities within the platform. They are tied to Activities and identity what identity performed an operation.

Accounts can represent anything. Here are some examples:

• Person
• Service Account
• Third Party Data Processor
• Team
• Geographical Region
• Step in a Pipeline
• Chain of Custody Participant
• Component in a Supply Chain

Relationship to API Keys

Every API Key is associated with an Account. This relationship associates the identity behind every action taken with an API Key.
